By bringing together experts from education, law, and public policy fields, our graduate certificate in education policy cultivates skilled leaders, policymakers, and researchers capable of excelling in policy implementation and analysis. The program provides students with the knowledge to address complex policy issues including affordability and accessibility in higher education, public school systems, the growth of charter schools, and strategies for attracting and keeping quality teachers.
This certification option is open to both non-degree-seeking graduate students (as an independent credential) and those pursuing graduate degrees at MU (as a supplementary credential). With program/adviser approval, the 12 credit hours completed for this certificate may count toward a degree program.
