Students who begin as Undeclared Business majors will complete general education requirements and foundational business courses, working toward either a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration or acceptance into the School of Accountancy. These students enjoy exclusive benefits like scholarships, specialized advising, and unique opportunities such as Camp Trulaske. Initially classified as lower-level (undeclared), students progress to upper-level status upon declaring a specialization—such as economics, finance, management, marketing, or real estate—or upon entering the School of Accountancy. Most students apply for upper-level status during their sophomore year or early in their junior year. The Trulaske College of Business provides undecided students with an excellent foundation at Mizzou while they discover their talents, abilities, and professional aspirations.
