You're interested in business studies but uncertain about which specialization to pursue. The Charlton College of Business exposes undeclared students to diverse disciplines, enabling you to select your major with confidence. During your initial three semesters, you'll sample courses across programs including Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Operations Management. We guide your major selection process through consultations with faculty and career advisors to clarify your professional aspirations. The Career Development Center assists with self-assessment and exploration of different majors and career paths. Involvement in student organizations helps refine your interests, while Charlton's internship opportunities provide practical work experience. Your academic journey typically involves 12-15 credits per semester. Upon completing 45 credit hours, you'll need to declare a major, which generally consists of 27 credit hours (9 courses), including 24 credits within the major and a 3-credit business elective (any 300-400 level College course). After selecting your major, you'll be assigned a college advisor to help structure your remaining curriculum.
