The Bachelor of Educational Studies (BES) program caters to students passionate about examining education through academic and scientific lenses, as well as those pursuing non-traditional education careers. Focus areas encompass learning theory, educational technology (including game development), leadership in education and communities, organizational transformation, and policy analysis. The BES curriculum establishes a grounding in educational principles, research methodologies, and practical applications, preparing students to drive meaningful change across diverse environments such as schools, global settings, student services, religious institutions, athletic programs, non-profits, and corporate entities. Note: This degree does not qualify graduates for public school teaching certification through the College of Education & Human Development. The BES program offers both on-campus and online completion options. On-campus students can craft a personalized academic path in collaboration with an advisor from Advising Services.
