Land and atmospheric science (LAAS) is an interdisciplinary scientific program centered on understanding Earth system processes involving land and atmosphere interactions. Students can choose to specialize in conventional atmospheric or soil science fields or create a customized interdisciplinary curriculum combining both disciplines. Unlike structured programs with predefined tracks, LAAS offers flexibility for students to tailor their coursework according to their academic interests within the program's framework. This multidisciplinary approach integrates elements of chemistry, physics, biology, atmospheric sciences, and geology.
