The industrial and systems engineering (ISyE) program provides courses and research opportunities in industrial and systems engineering, operations research, and human factors. It focuses particularly on methods for designing, planning, and overseeing service and manufacturing systems. Research areas cover logistics, transportation, healthcare systems, revenue optimization, and supply chain operations. The Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering provides an MS degree with three specialization options: Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Analytics, along with a PhD program. Applicants for the MS must specify their chosen track on the application, as admission criteria vary between them. The program also features a combined MS in ISyE and Civil Engineering (with a Transportation Engineering focus) and an accelerated bachelor's/master's degree option.
