The Exposure Science program equips students with expertise in detecting, quantifying, and modeling human exposure and dosage from environmental sources, whether singular or multi-media. The curriculum covers comprehensive training in exposure assessment techniques including measurement strategies, computational modeling, and the chemical/biological/physical foundations for evaluating exposure through single or combined pathways. Students explore exposure mechanisms, create molecular biomarkers, and utilize genomic, proteomic, and metabolomic indicators to evaluate exposures in relation to health outcomes.
