The program provides avenues for in-depth exploration and academic work in science and technology history (with specialized focus on physical sciences history, biological sciences history, technological evolution, and American scientific and technological developments) as well as medical history studies.
Other requirements to be completed before admission: Students must have a bachelor's degree with a preferred grade average of B or better and must be capable of interdisciplinary study. Depending on background and career objectives, additional preparatory studies may be necessary in either the science-technology area or in the humanities and social sciences.
The preferred undergraduate GPA for admittance to the program is 3.00.
