The field of Plant and Microbial Biology explores every dimension of plant and microorganism life, ranging from molecular processes to genomic studies and ecological systems. Learners examine plants and microbes across various scales, from microscopic cellular structures to entire organisms and ecological communities. The curriculum offers chances for hands-on research in laboratories and field settings, spanning local, national, and global locations. Academic plans are customized to fulfill each student's specific needs while maintaining a foundation of interdisciplinary core studies.
Anyone who has or will obtain a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the U.S. or a comparable degree from an officially recognized college or university outside the U.S. may apply for graduate admission.
The preferred undergraduate GPA for admittance to the program is 3.00.
