The sport management program examines modern athletics through the lenses of social dynamics, psychological factors, and economic principles. Given its significant influence on culture, commerce, and collective behavior, sports have become a compelling field for scholarly research. Career opportunities for graduates span sports marketing and administration, sales and development initiatives, coaching roles, athletic leadership positions, and various fitness-related professions. This curriculum additionally equips students for advanced studies in sports administration. The coursework explores diverse subjects including ethical considerations in athletics, sports as cultural phenomena, organizational leadership in sports, promotional strategies, and venue/event coordination.
Student are required to have a high school graduation
Successful applicants will have: 45 credits completed or in progress, Earned a 2.00 GPA, or higher, and 2.75 GPA, or higher
English Language Proficiency Requirements: TOEFL iBT – 79; IELTS Academic – 6.5; Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE Academic) – 59; Cambridge Assessment English (CAE) C1 Advanced – 180.
Application Deadline for Fall: For freshmen international students the deadlines are November 1 (early action 1 deadline), December 1 (early action 2 deadline) and January 1 (regular deadline)
