The dual MHSA/M.N.A. degree program is a collaborative initiative between the Department of Health Management and Policy and the School of Nursing, overseen by the Horace H. Rackham School of Graduate Studies. This specialized program caters to select students seeking comprehensive education in nursing administration alongside in-depth health management training. Instead of the typical six or seven semesters needed to earn each degree independently, participants fulfill all requirements within five semesters. The curriculum comprises 68 credit hours - with 45 credits from the School of Public Health and 23 from the School of Nursing, covering essential coursework for both degrees. Additional elective credits are selected with guidance from academic advisors. Students divide their enrollment between three terms at the School of Public Health and two terms through Rackham Graduate School.
