The Master of Science in Clinical Health Psychology is a graduate program provided by the Behavioral Sciences Department within the College of Arts, Sciences, and Letters (CASL) at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. This 48-credit, two-year program prepares mental health professionals for roles in primary care environments and conventional clinical psychology practice. The coursework, combined with one year of supervised post-graduate training in a healthcare facility, meets the educational prerequisites for Michigan's Limited Psychology License. The 48-credit curriculum includes eleven mandatory courses (36 credits) covering essential Clinical Health Psychology topics. Additionally, students complete six credit hours of community-based practicum. Participants may choose between taking two elective courses or writing a master's thesis with faculty guidance.
