Middle School Math students will get academic guidance from the Middle School Chair. The Graduate Program Administrator handles department and Rackham documentation. Details on credit minimums, joint-listed classes, and related topics are available in the Course Registration portion of the Graduate Student Guide. Those pursuing dual degrees should review Rackham's regulations regarding multiple degrees and shared credit hours. Mathematics PhD candidates may request a Master's degree while enrolled. Typically, the coursework needed for PhD Candidacy meets the requirements, but students should verify the breadth criteria. PhD candidates in Mathematics should consult with the academic advisor prior to advancing to candidacy status.
