Our two-year Master of Public Policy (MPP) is a 48-credit program requiring a policy internship between the first and second years. The Ford School's MPP provides broad training, equipping students with versatile research, analysis, management, and communication skills applicable across various sectors, policy areas, and locations. After completing core courses, students customize their studies through numerous elective options. For experienced professionals, we provide a condensed 9-month Master of Public Affairs (MPA) program to strengthen analytical and leadership capabilities for those working in government, military, corporate government relations, or nonprofit organizations domestically or internationally.

Qualification Requirements

Applicants complete a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association; or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
