The M.H.S.A./M.B.A. and M.P.H./M.B.A. programs, spanning three years, are collaborative initiatives between the Department of Health Management and Policy and the Ross School of Business. These programs cater to students seeking to strengthen their business expertise. By enrolling in the dual degree track, students can earn both their M.H.S.A. or M.P.H. and M.B.A. in three years instead of the typical four years needed to finish each degree individually. The Department of Health Management and Policy provides multiple dual-degree pathways, including options within Public Health and partnerships with other university schools. These structured programs enable students to pursue two degrees while often reducing their overall course requirements. Our HMP curriculum is built upon foundational competencies that represent the highest standards in health management and policy. These competencies outline the essential professional skills we aim for our graduates to master. Detailed in our regularly updated Competency Model, they reflect current research, industry knowledge, and insights from field professionals.
