Qualification Requirements

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Mathematics prerequisites are three semesters of calculus, a course in matrix or linear algebra, and an introductory course in statistics or biostatistics. Students with less preparation in mathematics or statistics may be conditionally admitted. General GRE exam from within the last 5 years. The minimum acceptable TOEFL score required for admission is 560 paper-based, 220 computer-based (CBT) or 100 Internet-based (iBT). Applicants complete a bachelor's degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association, or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
