Both the M.S. and M.P.H. degrees are structured as two-year programs spanning four terms, requiring 48 credits total. While sharing identical biostatistics coursework, these programs vary in their additional academic requirements.
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Mathematics prerequisites are three semesters of calculus, a course in matrix or linear algebra, and an introductory course in statistics or biostatistics. Students with less preparation in mathematics or statistics may be conditionally admitted.
General GRE exam from within the last 5 years.
The minimum acceptable TOEFL score required for admission is 560 paper-based, 220 computer-based (CBT) or 100 Internet-based (iBT).
