The Doctor of Pharmacy combined with a Master's in Public Health (PharmD/MPH) is a dual-degree program that enhances clinical pharmacy education with specialized public health training. The MPH component offers five CEPH-accredited concentration areas, each featuring competency-focused coursework. These concentrations - Biostatistics, Community Health, Epidemiology, Environmental Health, and Public Health Administration - are all available within the PharmD/MPH program. Dual-degree candidates select one specialization. Every MPH student must successfully complete a comprehensive exam assessing knowledge across core public health subjects after finishing required coursework. PharmD/MPH students typically take this exam in the summer after their third pharmacy school year.
