Integrative Design empowers us to address today's multifaceted, interconnected issues with careful consideration, comprehensive approaches, and well-informed strategies. At the University of Michigan's Stamps School of Art & Design, our two-year MDes in Integrative Design pioneers the development of a new generation of designers equipped to tackle 21st century creative challenges. Collaborating with industry leaders and nonprofit organizations, MDes students engage in practical, project-driven learning to solve authentic complex problems within a top-tier research environment. With an annual research expenditure of $1.48 billion, the University of Michigan showcases its substantial investment in pioneering new knowledge and solutions.
Applicants complete a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association; or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
