The MArch 2G/MUD Dual Degree offers an intensive architectural education program that transcends conventional academic boundaries. This innovative curriculum encourages experimental design methodologies for examining modern urban environments. Throughout the program, students acquire diverse competencies through coursework that blends architectural practice with urban development topics including real estate finance, municipal governance, design theory, ecological sustainability, and humanistic studies. The studio sequence cultivates analytical and creative design capabilities to tackle intricate urban challenges worldwide. Combining a two-year, 60-credit MArch professional degree (4 terms) with a three-semester, 45-credit MUD post-professional degree (3 terms), this dual program condenses into a six-term, 87-credit curriculum with 18 shared credits. Graduates emerge as exceptionally skilled practitioners prepared for academic positions, various government and private sector roles, and nonprofit leadership opportunities.

Applicants complete a bachelor’s degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association; or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
