Our marketing PhD program offers a challenging yet adaptable curriculum, accommodating a wide variety of research areas and academic coursework. Emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration, our department features faculty with expertise spanning Bayesian statistical modeling, structural approaches in industrial organization, brand development, consumer decision processes, social dynamics, cultural neuroscience, and sensory marketing. During their initial two years, students engage in intensive coursework while simultaneously collaborating with faculty on research initiatives. The program is further enriched by cross-disciplinary partnerships with departments like Psychology, Economics, and Statistics, where students can enhance their research methodologies and often receive guidance from faculty who serve on dissertation committees. We aim to cultivate future marketing scholars capable of securing positions at leading business schools, where they'll advance the marketing discipline through impactful research contributions.
