The Department of Marketing's faculty ranks among the most distinguished experts in consumer behavior, with particular expertise in information processing, judgment, and decision-making. Their scholarly work covers diverse theoretical domains, encompassing emotional responses, self-control mechanisms, mental visualization, brand perception, numerical reasoning, ethical considerations, situational influences, and beyond.

These scholars regularly publish in premier marketing and psychology publications, including the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and Psychological Science. Many hold editorial positions at these prestigious journals. They also bring substantial industry consulting expertise, having worked with major corporations like Procter & Gamble, A.C. Nielsen Corporation, Kraft USA, and the Kroger Company.

Our program seeks ambitious students aiming to establish themselves as consumer behavior researchers and pursue academic careers at top-tier business schools. We offer a cooperative, nurturing atmosphere for idea development, complemented by a fully equipped behavioral research lab for experimental testing.
