The Interdepartmental Program in Classical Art and Archaeology (IPCAA) provides doctoral-level education focusing on the artistic traditions and material remains of ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern civilizations. Jointly administered by the Departments of Classical Studies and History of Art, and housed within the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, IPCAA benefits from an exceptional faculty across multiple disciplines and the University of Michigan's extensive museum collections and research libraries. Qualification Requirements

Applicants complete a bachelor's degree from a U.S. college or university accredited by a regional accrediting association, or complete an international degree that is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree from a college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
All applicants are required to upload a scanned copy of their official transcript, for each bachelor's, master's, professional, or doctoral degree earned or in progress
Applicants who must demonstrate English language proficiency through test scores but do so through either TOEFL or IELTS. Minimum scores for admission are below.
