Tailored for students who have both experience and passion for music production using technology while wanting to pursue traditional music performance (classical or jazz) on an acoustic instrument or voice in higher education. The Bachelor of Music in Music & Technology equips graduates for professional paths that blend innovative applications of music technology—including performance, production, recording, composition, studio and live sound engineering, as well as music and sound design for film, television, or video games. Prospective students must complete a live or recorded audition on their primary instrument or voice and submit a PAT Portfolio. By merging music, engineering, and related arts in an intimate, cooperative setting, the department boasts an exceptional faculty of distinguished scholars, educators, and industry professionals. Learners work alongside gifted peers from diverse disciplines—from performers of all styles to future audio technology innovators in the College of Engineering.
