The Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) program is offered through a collaboration between the Philosophy Department, Economics Department, and Political Science Department, dating back to its inaugural graduating class in 2012. This interdisciplinary PPE concentration equips Michigan undergraduates with a comprehensive, cohesive curriculum that combines three key perspectives on human behavior and societal dynamics. Through foundational courses, students gain exposure to diverse analytical frameworks and social science research techniques while developing crucial critical thinking and persuasive writing abilities central to philosophical discourse.

International Students Should Submit the School Report.
Submit one Teacher Evaluation (core academic teacher or other non-relative who can speak directly to the student's academic aptitude, potential, and classroom performance).
Submit a Counselor Recommendation (encouraged, but not required).
Submit your high school transcript. An official English translation is required to accompany the transcript if the transcript is not issued in English by the school. Students who have already completed high school, including university transfer applicants, should be sure to have final high school transcript submitted showing the graduation date. Also provide a detailed explanation of any educational gaps.
TOEFL (iBT) - 100 range with section scores 23 plus in listening and reading and 21 plus in speaking and writing.

Duolingo (DET) - 130 range with section scores 120 plus
