Those pursuing the Master of Music in Jazz Vocal Performance are deeply committed to honing their expertise across various jazz performance aspects, from improvisation and composition to vocal techniques in both solo and ensemble jazz and contemporary settings. This curriculum caters to individuals with an undergraduate degree in jazz studies-jazz voice or jazz vocal performance. Applicants with a bachelor's in a related music field and substantial professional jazz experience may also qualify.

The MSJV program offers participants the chance to direct and perform in prominent jazz vocal ensembles while developing comprehensive knowledge of jazz education methodologies.
