The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering provides a Bachelor of Science program in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a specialization in Internal Combustion Engines. This curriculum introduces mechanical engineering students to the core scientific and engineering principles behind conventional and high-performance internal combustion engine design, emission formation in combustion systems, and automotive mechanisms and structures, including vibrations and noise.
