The Community and Applied Psychological Studies program combines personal, relational, societal, and communal perspectives to foster healthy growth and wellness. Formerly known as Human and Social Development (HSD), this renamed CAPS major examines how these interconnected dimensions influence positive transformation.

Through studying theoretical frameworks, practical applications, and research methodologies, students develop skills to recognize obstacles to wellness and create impactful intervention strategies. The CAPS curriculum blends academic knowledge with hands-on experience, concluding with a specialized practicum that aligns with each student's professional aspirations while preparing them for advanced education or direct entry into the workforce.
