The Electronic Media program allows students to tailor their studies to match their communication passions. While some concentrate on media production, others blend production classes with industry-focused coursework. Students often select electives from various School of Communication offerings. Beyond traditional classroom learning, the program strongly recommends participation in UMTV (the school's cable TV channel) and WVUM-FM (the student-operated radio station broadcasting throughout South Florida).
