To earn a Spanish major, students must complete a minimum of 24 credit hours beyond SPA 202, maintaining a C- or better in all major courses and an overall GPA of 2.5 within the major (refer to curriculum for specific course requirements). Through coursework, students develop the ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret various forms of communication and cultural expressions (including digital media, cinema, and literature) from diverse geopolitical perspectives.
