The Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Media with a Public Relations focus prepares students for professional roles in PR across various sectors including agencies, corporations, nonprofits, government, and freelance work. This public relations program is available at the Memphis campus, Lambuth campus, and online via UofM Global. Graduates often pursue careers as account executives, corporate communications professionals, crisis management experts, event coordinators, research analysts, and social media strategists. Students earn several certifications during their studies, covering social media management, Google applications, and media evaluation. The curriculum includes 52 credit hours from Journalism and Strategic Media courses plus 9 credit hours from the Fogelman College of Business and Economics.
All students, both freshmen and transfer, must apply online for admission as an undergraduate student.
