Public Relations and Strategic Communication (PR) is a strategic approach focused on fostering positive connections between organizations and their audiences. PR professionals work to shape public perception and oversee reputation management for companies, nonprofits, and prominent figures through engagement with consumers, employees, and stakeholders.
The Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Strategic Communication prepares students with the expertise, perspectives, and competencies required for success in today's evolving digital media landscape. Grounded in liberal arts principles, the program covers essential topics ranging from conventional and digital media to analytics and business fundamentals. Through coursework, students gain problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and communication proficiency by mastering digital/social media, crisis response, brand integration, global media, visual content creation, writing, and media outreach. The program culminates with a capstone PR campaigns course and professional internships.
