The Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Media with an Advertising focus prepares students for professional roles across agency, corporate, nonprofit, and independent work environments. This program covers essential advertising disciplines such as campaign creation and implementation, brand stewardship, consumer research, media purchasing, and creative conceptualization. Graduates earn certifications in Google Analytics and social media analytics alongside their degree. Career paths include positions like account management, strategic planning, brand leadership, creative writing, media procurement, research analysis, and social media coordination. The curriculum requires 52 credit hours in Journalism and Strategic Media courses plus 9 business credit hours through the Fogelman College of Business and Economics.
All students, both freshmen and transfer, must apply online for admission as an undergraduate student.
