The Bioengineering BS/MS accelerated program is a combined degree pathway allowing exceptional students to obtain both a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering (BNG) and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering & Biotechnology (BMEBT) within five years. This program requires 120 credit hours for the bachelor's degree and 31 for the master's. Participants may apply up to nine credits (three graduate-level courses at 500 or above) from approved BMEBT graduate courses toward their BS BNG Specializations. These credits simultaneously count toward the MS degree, shortening the total time needed to earn the graduate degree.

Benefits of the BS/MS program

This intensive Bioengineering BS/MS track caters to driven, high-achieving undergraduates seeking graduate-level education. The program provides:

enhanced scheduling flexibility to meet advanced study prerequisites,
a smooth progression into graduate studies,
the potential to finish MS requirements just one year after completing the BS, and
opportunities to optimize both time and financial investment in higher education
