The Environmental Studies and Sustainability program at the School for the Environment is nationally acclaimed for its interdisciplinary approach, blending humanities, social sciences, economics, and business to address environmental challenges. Students shape their academic journey by selecting courses across disciplines like anthropology, law, history, management, economics, and natural sciences. Beyond classroom learning, this experiential program includes internships, research projects, cooperative education, and culminating capstone courses where students collaborate in multidisciplinary teams with Boston-area agencies and organizations.
