Gain expertise in both the theoretical and applied aspects of computer science.
Our Bachelor of Arts curriculum delivers comprehensive training in Computer Science while incorporating humanities studies. This program serves as a foundation for various industry careers or advanced studies in Computer Science and related disciplines. High-achieving students may participate in our Honors Program by completing an Honors Thesis.
Degree candidates must fulfill additional college requirements including University Residency, Writing Proficiency, Quantitative Reasoning, General Distribution, Diversity, Verbal Reasoning and Expression, along with First-Year and Intermediate Seminar prerequisites. These are not detailed here.
Based on departmental placement test results, some students might need to start with Math130 (Pre-calculus) or Math115 (College Algebra) before progressing to CS110 or Math140. While these preliminary courses contribute to degree credits, they don't count toward the major requirements.
