Industrial engineers tackle business challenges by adopting an economic viewpoint, utilizing computer science methods to examine data and create decision-making tools, while incorporating psychological insights to properly address and integrate human factors within systems.
The Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research is a 30-credit curriculum. Students can choose between a 10-course non-thesis track or a thesis path involving 7 courses plus a 9-credit research project.
The innovative field experience specialization enables learners to emphasize hands-on implementation, both through project-intensive coursework and via off-campus internships, cooperative education, or practical training programs.
