SPP accepts two students annually into this specialized track. These candidates enroll in the MPPA program while receiving financial support from the Food Science Department.
The MPPA curriculum builds robust analytical skills applicable to diverse policy challenges. Core coursework covers public administration, policy economics, analytical techniques, and statistical methods. Electives let students tailor their studies to individual interests and career aspirations, with options including negotiation strategies, makerspace management, social enterprises, policy analysis, and studies on systemic inequalities. Practical experience comes through mandatory internships, a culminating capstone project, and professional development workshops.
