UMass Amherst's dual master's program in landscape architecture and regional planning enables you to combine landscape design and analysis with an understanding of the social, political, regulatory, and economic influences that affect them.

After starting the program, you'll collaborate with advisors to select elective courses that establish a focused area of study. Additionally, you'll fulfill all core requirements from both degree programs.

Upon graduation, you'll earn two distinct degrees: a Master of Landscape Architecture and a Master of Regional Planning. This accelerated path allows you to complete both degrees in one fewer year than pursuing them separately. Combining these complementary disciplines will prove advantageous as you advance in your professional journey.
