We provide MA, MAT, and PhD programs. Our MA program is designed for both recent graduates and working professionals looking to deepen their understanding of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking cultures while advancing their careers. The MAT curriculum focuses on equipping aspiring educators with the skills needed to earn teaching certification. Spanish majors can also pursue an accelerated MA option while completing their undergraduate studies. Our doctoral program accepts applicants with or without prior MA degrees in Hispanic Studies or related disciplines. Those entering without an MA must fulfill extra coursework requirements and receive an additional year of financial support to complete these prerequisites.
