Our doctoral candidates usually dedicate around five years to completing our program. They typically finish comprehensive exams in Microeconomics, Econometrics, and a chosen specialization (Industrial Organization, Environmental Economics, or Experimental & Behavioral) by the beginning of their second summer. The program requires 45 course credits and 18 dissertation credits, culminating in a final Dissertation.
