Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Supporting Children with Intensive Behavior Needs in College Park United States | University of Maryland, College Park

The Department of Counseling, Higher Education, and Special Education, together with the Kennedy Krieger Center for Innovation and Leadership in Special Education, developed this program to enhance working educators' skills in supporting students with significant behavioral challenges stemming from disabilities. Participants complete coursework and hands-on training to deepen their knowledge and practical skills in areas like learning neuroscience, behavior modification techniques, school administration, education law, and team coordination. This prepares them to enhance their school's ability to effectively educate students with severe behavioral needs.
