The Master of Public Policy (MPP) is a two-year professional program that equips students with essential analytical abilities, specialized knowledge, and professional connections to tackle complex policy issues. The MPP program structure includes two key elements - a mandatory core curriculum (totaling 27 credits) covering governance fundamentals, quantitative methods, and policy implementation, alongside elective courses for specialized study. Students can apply their elective credits toward one or two focus areas or explore broader policy topics. Available concentrations span environmental policy, energy systems, global development, international security and economics, organizational leadership, nonprofit administration, public finance, social welfare, healthcare systems, education reform, and a customizable option. Graduation requires completion of 48 credit hours. Master policy formulation and governance while developing analytical expertise and hands-on experience to address critical societal challenges.
The Environmental Policy concentration investigates regulatory frameworks and policy solutions for ecological conservation across various developmental settings. This interdisciplinary specialization combines scientific, economic, managerial, and ethical perspectives to build the conceptual framework and technical competencies required for addressing both national and international environmental concerns through effective policymaking.
