Master the principles of policy and governance while developing analytical abilities and hands-on experience to tackle critical policy issues. The Master of Public Policy (MPP) is a two-year professional program that equips students with the knowledge, tools, and connections to analyze problems and develop effective solutions. The MPP program features two key elements - a 27-credit core curriculum establishing fundamentals in governance, quantitative methods, and policy implementation, plus elective courses for specialized study. Students can apply elective credits toward one or two focus areas or explore broader policy topics. Available specializations cover environmental policy, energy policy, international development, security and economic policy, leadership, nonprofit management, public finance, social policy, health policy, education policy, or a custom-designed option. Completion requires 48 total credits to obtain the MPP degree.
Undergraduate grade point average of entering students is 3.6 and GRE scores average in the low to mid 600s.
