The School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation (MAPP) has partnered with the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources (AGNR) to establish a combined master's program. This initiative allows graduate students to simultaneously earn a Master of Community Planning (MCP) and a Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) through an integrated curriculum. Students passionate about urban planning and landscape design can fulfill specialization and elective requirements by taking courses from both programs. This collaborative degree leverages the distinctive expertise of faculty from both MAPP and the Department of Plant Science and Landscape Architecture (PSLA). As a participant, you'll develop skills in: Eco-conscious design, Landscape effectiveness, Human-environment interaction, and Comprehensive urban planning. The curriculum fosters cross-disciplinary learning by enhancing landscape architecture students' planning knowledge and equipping planning students with landscape architecture expertise.
