The Curriculum and Instruction (EDCI) graduate program, part of the Department of Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership, provides Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree options. Our department features diverse programs tailored to align with students' academic and career objectives, spanning educational research, teaching, supervision, curriculum leadership, teacher preparation, or consulting across all educational levels - from elementary to higher education. Certain M.Ed. specializations provide teacher certification pathways, including options for non-education bachelor's degree holders pursuing teaching credentials. Additional offerings include specialized M.Ed. tracks for current educators and education professionals. For those focused on research, we provide master's programs like the M.A. in Teaching & Learning, Policy & Leadership (TLPL).
Those applicants who have earned or will earn a bachelor's degree at a regionally accredited college or university in the United States (or the equivalent of a baccalaureate degree from a nationally recognized institution in another country) are eligible to be considered for admission to the Graduate School at the University of Maryland
