UMBC offers four-course post-baccalaureate cybersecurity certificates that students can finish within one year. These certificates are accessible to individuals with diverse undergraduate or professional experiences. Learners have the option to pursue a standalone certificate or use it as a stepping stone toward the Cybersecurity master's program. Upon admission to the M.P.S.: Cybersecurity degree, all four certificate courses transfer as credit toward the graduate program.

Applicants should have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (U.S. Equivalent). Applicants with an appropriate level of knowledge and professional experience in the IT or cybersecurity fields are strongly encouraged to apply.

TOEFL Essentials: 10 or higher on each section
