The Bachelor of Science program equips students for diverse career opportunities in Information Systems. Key focus areas encompass Systems Analysis and Design, Computer Networking, and Health Care Informatics. Housed within UMBC's College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT), the Information Systems Department provides multiple academic pathways. Our curriculum includes undergraduate and graduate options such as: a B.A. in Business Technical Administration, B.S. in Information Systems, combined B.S./M.S. programs, M.S. in Information Systems (available online), M.S. in Human-Centered Computing, along with doctoral programs in both Information Systems and Human-Centered Computing. These programs enable students to explore the creation, deployment, and assessment of information technology solutions.
