The Individualized Study Program grants both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees to UMBC students who complete the INDS 335 course to develop a customized degree plan, which must gain approval from the Individualized Study Committee (ISC). Every participant collaborates with INDS advisors and two specially selected faculty members or professionals to design their unique academic path. Along with offering foundational courses that enable interdisciplinary studies, the program actively supports opportunities for internships and self-directed research projects.
