UMBC's Baccalaureate Social Work Program belongs to the University of Maryland's School of Social Work, which provides a complete sequence of social work degrees - from bachelor's to master's and doctoral levels. Both the bachelor's and master's programs hold full accreditation from the Council on Social Work Education, a nationally respected body established to enhance social work education standards.
